Our Projects

Meridian Mining S.E. is focused on becoming the next mid-tier Copper-Gold developer with a focus on Brazil. The Company’s priority is on the Cabaçal project, an advanced VMS district scale Cu-Au project located in the state of Mato Grosso. Discovered in 1883 by BP Minerals, the main zone of massive to stockwork, stringer and disseminated Copper-Gold sulphide mineralisation at Cabaçal was never mined. Cabaçal’s Cu-Au mineralisation remains open beyond ~175 meters below surface and extends 1,800 meters along strike. Meridian’s Board and Management team has a track record of development, financing and operating natural resource projects in Brazil and internationally.

Espigão Polymetallic

Following the recognition of a zoned polymetallic hydrothermal system at Meridian’s Espigão Project, the Company has progressively integrating multi-element data consolidated during five years of manganese operations, with high-quality aerial geophysical datasets The Company is refocussing its efforts on evaluation of the copper-gold exploration potential due to

  • The widespread copper anomalism in the oxide vein systems;
  • The presence of two significant gold in stream and soil anomalies at the Project; and
  • The age range and geochemistry of the crystalline basement (consistent with Proterozoic Cu-Au provinces such as the Gawler Province of Australia)

Ariquemes

Focusing on exploring for paleo-channel and primary tin deposits within the world class Ariquemes tin field, located in Rondônia, NW Brazil, a state rich in natural resources and under-explored. The project area hosts the “right rocks” and a favourable geophysical signature for targeting repeats of the mineralization. While the magnetics imagery provides focused areas for targeting concealed intrusions for disseminated / stockwork target styles. In house reviews of structural modelling provides focused areas for targeting vein / pegmatite mineralization.
